Christopher Burch Co-founder

Christopher Burch is chairman of Burch Creative Capital, a private investment company based in New York City. Mr. Burch is an active investor in a variety of businesses spanning a wide range of industries and is the co-founder of the luxury fashion brand, Tory Burch.
Mr. Burch has always been devoted to the power of branding, and currently applies his keen sense of marketing and sales to business interests spanning apparel, financial services, technology and consumer products.


Edwin Mahoney Co-founder

Ed Mahoney is the owner and founder of E.B. Mahoney Builders, a prestigious building firm located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. As a third generation builder, Edwin has exhibited an uncanny level of precision, style and quality. Countless honors and awards have been bestowed upon E.B. Mahoney Builders over the years, including, but not limited to, The Builder of the Year Award from The Main Line Builders Association, The Best Custom Home from Pyramid Awards and The Best Residential Renovation from Pyramid Awards.


I-Shin Chow Director of Design Development

Leveraging his experience in design in Asia, I-Shin acts as a key interface between Western designers and the production team at COCOON9. He is a founding partner of the design studio, sciSKEW Collaborative.

Steven Chen R.A. Project Director

After practicing design/build in New York City and managing high-end residential and non-profit institutional projects, Steven heads the Cocoon9 team in the US for architectural and interior design development and fabrication.

Elissa Lumley Media Relations

Elissa Lumley handles publicity and media partnerships and assists in marketing promotions for Cocoon9. Prior to Cocoon9, she was the in-house corporate communications director for Burch Creative Capital, overseeing the public relations activities of several portfolio companies. Prior to Burch Creative Capital, she worked with Guggenheim Media on the relaunch of The Hollywood Reporter and Adweek. She spent over ten years at Conde Nast, with PR roles at Vogue, Architectural Digest, and W magazines. She started her career at CNN in Washington, DC, followed by Fleishman-Hillard Public Relations. She received her Bachelor of Arts from University of the Pacific.
